Nothing to say except : ENJOY and come build your own idea of the Crêp' Swing Festival during the 2018 edition : crêpes and swing as much as you can ! "
This year, only one course option : 8h of lessons for all levels.
And because this year, the musique is at the heart of the festival, 2 hours will take place with an orchstra.
You are (still) discovering the lindy hop and you start taking classes 5-6 months ago. You can make the difference between lindy hop, charleston and groove-walk rhythms and you are starting to master basic 8 counts moves, including notions of 6 counts transitions.
Crêpe Sugar Push
Basics have (almost) no secrets for you ! You are very familiar with 8 and 6 counts moves and you are now exploring more subtle aspects of your dance : connection, musicality, variations... You are practicing regularly in addition to your weekly classes, and you are starting to feel more comfortable in your social dancing on various tempos.
That's it pal, now you have swing in your soul ! You take any opportunities to be the first on the dance floor and you have already attended several workshops/festivals outside your city. You can mix rhythms, technics and styling on a large range of tempos but your dance might still miss some fluidity and self-confidence. You are ready for some challenges!
Crêpe Suzette Q
No secret here: you are an outstanding dancer ! Adding some style in your moves has become your second nature and you are as rhythmical as musical. You have probably already entered one or several international competitions and you are probably teaching lindy hop in your city too. If you are ready to focus on tiny details to improve your dancing and if top challenge does not scare you, then this level is for you !

Diana & Andrew
Gifted and full of energy Dancers :
clap your hands for Diana Geisler & Andrew Hsi.
Diana started her dancing career in her home town Vienna, where she co-founded a swing dance project and teaches regular classes and workshops.
She is a social dancer at heart and travels frequently to international swing events. The dynamic of Lindy Hop and Shag as well as the idea of energetic social dancing with strong partner connection form the fundament of her dancing. Developing a sensibility for your own body, as well as your dance partner, and a playful approach to musicality are the top ingredients of her individual style, as well as her classes. As a teacher, she hopes to inspire others by suggesting a framework of shapes and rhythms.
Andrew started dancing in 2006 as part of a small Lindy Hop scene in Beijing at the tail end of high school. For someone who had never danced before he thought it was pretty cool. That year the Harlem Hot Shots, one of the most renowned Lindy Hop dance companies in the world, were on tour and happened to be in town performing, he saw the show and was inspired, deciding that summer to make the pilgrimage to the Herrang Dance Camp in Sweden after dancing for only 2 months.
Andrew still loves dancing as much as he did when he started, and has even placed or made finals in various competitions at events such as Camp Jitterbug, Camp Hollywood, the Lonestar Championships, and the International Lindy Hop Championships. As a dancer he is known for his at times crazy energy on the floor and as a teacher he loves discovering and sharing fun steps with everyone.

She is a passionate dancer who strives to better express herself, and her delightful dancing gives positive energy to everyone who watches her dance.

Naomi & Her Handsome Devils
Naomi & Her Handsome Devils are striving for the sound of that swing era sweet spot. Naomi founded the Devils after working with some of the best bands on the swing dance/lindy hop scene, and as a top international lindy hopper herself she knew just what she wanted to hear on the dance floor and who she wanted to play it. The Devils have decades of experience playing hot jazz as some of the top young talent in the Chicago and New York traditional jazz scenes, and Naomi hand picked her favorite musicians to come together and make music. Put it all together and you have a modern band with a vintage sound, swinging dance floors around the world.
Shirt Tails Stompers
One of London's top vintage jazz bands, The Shirt Tail Stompers have quickly made a name for themselves at home and internationally. Truly appreciating the art of swing and knowing it's place in history, they are heavily influenced by Fats Waller, Fletcher Henderson, Wingy Manone and many other greats from the swing and trad jazz era of the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. They also play a mean blues show, influenced by the likes of the early Duke Ellington, Sidney Bechet and the old musicical roots of New Orleans.
Last year alone saw them playing festivals and shows in Sweden, Belgium, Hungary, The Netherlands, Ireland, Germany, Italy and throughout the UK to rave reviews. Highlights at home have included The Royal Albert Hall, Vintage Festival by Hemmingway and London's many vintage and dance nights. Dancers and lindy hop are very close to their hearts and the band have relished making people's feet move all over the world.
